It's that time again another week and another challenge from Just Magnolia. This week's challenge is a sketch again. I'm loving this blog as it's getting me using all the Magnolia stamps that i've bought and never used lol.
I really needed to make a card for my Father in Law who's birthday was last week (eeekkk i'm so bad). In my defence I've been so excited about the arrival of my first Niece or Nephew that I totally forgot.
As my Father in Law loves fishing I decided that little fishing Edwin should come out and play. The backing paper is some more Daisy Bucket that I bought a while ago and needed an airing lol. The little fish are also Magnolia. I used my copics to colour the image except the water at the bottom which I used my watercolour pencils for cos I couldn't get it right with the copics lol. I used my new Martha Stewart Double Scallop punch which I lurve. I was a bit stumped as to what to do instead of the flourish as with it being a man's card the flourish looked to girly so i've left it off. I do hope that is ok?
Hope everyone is enjoying their bank holiday weekend. Me, i'm off to let my lil sis' cat out and then i'm going to kick DH's butt on Mario Karts which I bought for the family today. And i'm also keeping my fingers crossed that my little Bean will be here soon as my sis has being induced today (thats why i'm letting the cat out lol). Oooooo I think i'm the most excited Auntie to be in the world.
